This law gives judges the authority to offer to minors who violate the traffic laws of Mississippi (other than a D.U.I.) the option of attending a driver education and training program. Students who complete the course successfully will not have the violation entered on their driving record. Our program is approved by the state and is currently offered in classroom locations throughout Mississippi.
This law provides for sentencing of a first-time adult traffic violator to a safe-driving school and to provide that this violation will not be entered on their driving record.
